Windows Live Messenger Application

The Windows Live Messenger application is one of the most popular one for the Windows users and for the Mac users it might not be that much popular instant messaging application. Microsoft believes that this application should also be included in the application store and that’s why they have announced a free window live messenger application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

One of the most exciting facilities that the live messenger brings for you is that it not only keeps you connected to the Windows live buddies but also with the yahoo buddies, some more goodness is that it helps you in keeping up with your buddies on the social networking platforms like Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and MySpace.

The application though has reached the application stores but one limitation is that it has released without support for the iOS 4’s new multitasking ability which is a function that has found to be especially useful for the chat applications but still the other excitement of other features of windows live messenger will stay with the users. Another facility that has been announced for this new application is the push notifications, so the IM you’ll receive will still pop out even when the application is not running.
