Privacy Policy Adopted

This Tuesday facebook has announced that they will revise their privacy policies to become more accessible and much easier to understand. They have created an online survey of people’s comments and suggestions regarding the new implemented changes and have received a very positive response. More than 7,000 members of the facebook family and the facebook organizers are really happy at such a response.

According to Michael Richter deputy general counsel of facebook “Overall, members supported the proposed changes, including the simplification of the language used to describe the policy and the document’s new structure”. In July an investigation by Canada’s privacy commissioner suggested that facebook should do some better actions to increase the user’s privacy.

These implementations by facebook are very useful for the beginners and the more graphical features have made the internal application more perfect. The company has implemented some more security measures regarding the user accounts which will build more interest of users towards facebook. The new privacy policy has provided much useful information to the users and now information regarding user activity would be given to the user.

By these changes facebook has been succeeded in building trust with the user and now hopefully this social networking site will gain more and more popularity.
