It has been observed that there are many UK retailers who are specialists in game retailing control and sending the video game market for UK to the backburners. German publisher, Georg Lach, has said that Koch Media has predicted quite a bleak future for UK games market for its strange marketing policies.

These companies are literally seen struggling with the pressures of exchanging their rates and prices to display on the high street post-recession. As it is the market for games or any form of entertainment are quite low now.

There is no severe competition now in the UK market, as a result of this and retailers seem to be on circular motions with decisions of getting high onto the market or not.

Many other factors also come to grip with the market as most of the games market remains to be on its teethers’ end and struggling endlessly.

Growth of the gaming industry has thus been stifled. Ian Livingston of Eidos has said that the companies really need to rally troops in order to get to the governments for making it possible for serious marketing being done on their favor.

Developers or publishers with new methods of re-introducing gaming in people’s lives are also being welcomed. Effective marketing strategies are required to channel the new phase of gaming industry in the UK as with the rest of the world.
