Well, this is more of a bad news for those waiting for a PSP phone. Sony has recently refused on building up a PSP phone anytime soon. This means that Sony has refused the Sony Ericssson, the mobile phone venture to use PSP badge on of the latest or the upcoming phones.
There are a lot of speculations in the market regarding the refusal for the permission to Sony Ericsson. Is Sony planning to come up with its own phone based smallest PlayStation or is it just denying their mobile phone counter part Sony Ericsson to go out with the unique idea in the market.
No one knows the actual deal behind this refusal but an anonymous Sony Ericsson speaker announced that they feel that the specifications are not technically high enough to be accommodated on an expensive phone as of now.
Sony currently uses the much hyped Sony Walkman and the Cybershot brands in its phones currently; however the Sony Bravia brand is only used for the mobile phones that are available in Japan. His statement keeps us wondering about the time when the actual PSP phone is going to hit the markets.
