There are 4 USB ports, which is a good quantity.

PlayStation 3Also, there are CompactFlash, SD Memory Card and Memory Stick Duo card slots, which allow you to enjoy watching your photos. PS3 has a slot-loading Blu-ray optical disk drive at the front. All the 4 US ports have been placed at the front, which is a disappointment, as at least one port must have been at the back. Near it is the memory card reader.

The optical digital audio output (SPDIF), the PS AV output for analog audio and video, the HDMI output and Ethernet port are all situated at the rear. The external game pad which comes with the PS3 is wireless, and up to 7 game pads can be connected to one console via Bluetooth. You can play for up to 30 hrs per charge.

PS3 can serve as media player by playing your audio files via BD drive or USB, or even a memory card. Not only this, but you can watch HD movies in full resolution through PS3. It also features a built in web browser, which can be availed more easily by attaching a wireless keyboard and mouse. Thus, its not only about gaming that P3 offers.

Final Words:

It is not only a gaming console, but it is your Blu-ray player, web browser and photo viewer. And when it comes to gaming, it provides free online gaming, wireless gaming and backward compatibility. This is surely a nice gaming console.
