It has been reported that two of the most famous mobile phone developing companies of South Korea are planning to unveil some new handsets for the international markets. The specifications as revealed by both of the companies are just awesome and it has also been reported that cell phones of both of the companies will be having some really close links with the social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. A new member of the S-series of Samsung has been coming and it will include special applications for Facebook and MySpace and some other widgets will be available for providing direct connection to Twitter, Bebo and some other instant messaging networks.

The handset coming from the LG’s side is the GD880 mini which provides a good connection to Facebook and Twitter and there is also a social networking feed function that will combine updates from the different services into a single stream like that of Google Wave. The capabilities of both these handsets seems to be almost similar but it can be easily expected that when these phones will be actually revealed the whole world will see a very tough competition within both of them and with the other handsets already present in the mobile phone industry.
