It was speculated that Samsung will be launching its Android based phone at the Mobile World Congress. Instead, head of marketing at Samsung’s mobile device division, Younghee Lee said that the company is “planning internally” for the launch in the second half of the running year.
She also disclosed the company’s workings for the launch of its Android based. She told that Samsung is busy negotiating with many operators to take Samsung’ Android based design. This delay reasoning was given on the launch of its new slim trim handset.
Samsung has recently launched the slimmer version of its highly acclaimed Tocco touch screen device. It is also called the flagship handset of the year by Samsung.
Earlier Samsung took the market away from Nokia in UK. It was strongly hoped that Samsung will go one step further by introducing its Google Android based handset. Now, with the disappointing news of the delay, it is not known what kind of response the set will get.
Due to the world over economical recession, the mobile industry has slumped. Mobile companies are producing gadget stacked handsets available at low prices to attract more of the buyers.
