Vodafone Starts Selling iPhone
It has been reported by some news media that Vodafone has started selling the iPhone on their platform and the company has announced that it will deliver a massive quantity of iPhones up to almost 50, 000 handsets on the very first day of its sale. Earlier iPhone was only coming from the O2 platform but now it seems that other companies are also coming towards the iPhone. In an official statement by Vodafone the company has confirmed that “Vodafone UK CEO Guy Laurence confirmed that it would be delivering over 50,000 iPhones to customers on its first day of selling the device”.
The earlier Networks by apple like Orange were also very profit earning sources for the iPhone but now it seems that Apple is diversifying the Network to give a better place for the iPhone 4G which is expected to come in this summer. As the competition in the Smartphone industry is rising at a very high rate so such strategies by the iPhone developers will really going to get worked. This will be also beneficial for the Vodafone as well because Apple is the strongest contenders of the Smartphones war and the new facilitates will earn some more value of the company.
