hyundai_hrc_300Hyundai is almost close to finalizing a deal with the UK based telecommunications company called Advantage Cellular in order to sell mobile phones in the UK market. Coming across as an overly ambitious market, Hyundai actually believes that it can bring about the kind of devices which would attract at least 3% to 5% of the mobile phone market.

Mobile World Congress is going to be a great opportunity for the company to reveal almost 10 to 15 of their latest handsets as reported in the Mobile Today.  Amongst these handsets, one of them is a Windows Mobile phone that is making its debut this year before July along with other handsets that attract the innovation, video, music and lifestyle sectors of the market.

Hyundai Mobile was launched in Europe in the latter half of 2008 with some basic looking but fully functional handsets. It now wants to venture in the UK mobile phone market. Hyundai Mobile is heard to move in the same building as Advantage Mobile with the staff of 8 members to promote their newly formed branch. However, more staff is expected to join once the company is entirely functional.

So now we get to see yet another far eastern company plunging into the mobile phone market after Siemens and BenQ. Although we still have to see whether they can acquire the 5% of the total mobile phone market.
