This Wednesday the annual Game Developers Conference was held where the handheld gaming website announced some awards for the game developers and among them the highly honored was Firemint that has been given four different awards for their highly rated games. This award is not considered any big award because the gaming industry has also become well recognized now days and the award winners have been provided with serious recognition from the industry.

One of the awards winning game by the company was Flight Control which has got two awards; one for the best casual/puzzle iPhone game and the other for iPhone game of the year award. Meanwhile another game which won the best free iPhone game award was Real Racing GTI which is a very lite version of the racing games developed by the company. The best thing about both of these games is that they carry an impressive social feature, graphics are awesome, and realism as a compelling asset is also fine with these games. Thus the announcement of these awards for the Firemint has raised the status of company among the iPhone game’s developers and this is really good for the future projects of the company as well.
