Google Left China
Yesterday the internet giant ‘Google’ took a very decisive step by announcing that they have left china and the company will stop censoring its Chinese search results, this step seems to be really a blusterous one and can have quite bad results but according to the experts this step doesn’t means end of world in China. The company has only left the mainland China and if you go to the google.cn page you’ll be automatically redirected to the Chinese language Google Hong Kong which is the special administrative region of China where “one country, two system” law governs the land.
In the search engine now available for China Google has blocked some of its web applications like YouTube and Blogger while the others can be easily accessible in those areas. Another facility of Google for China is that the phone OS is available in China for free; the manufacturers can download and install it absolutely free of cost. One reason for such steps by Google can be the ‘Baidu search engine’ which is beating Google in the China’s web in terms of searching. Thus it can be seen that though Google is being bit tough for the Chinese web but still they are not completely removing this region from their network.
