Apple iPad which was the most awaited tablet PC of the world after the release is expected to take the companies into certain controversies as on Monday a Chinese company that sells tablet PC like the iPad has announced that it may sue the US Company over the similar design. The company is Shenzhen Great Loong Brother Industrial and it started selling its tablet PC P88 last year and according to some Spokesman by the company, they are not ruling out a lawsuit against Apple. The company is basically based in a southern Chinese city which is well known for producing knock-off phones which are called the “shanzhai,” or “bandit” phones.

Surnamed Wu a company’s representative said in a telephonic discussion “For this thing we are not Shanzhai, because we were first” and up till now no statement has come forward from the Apple’s side. Despite of some differences of battery life and working of both p88 and iPad both devices have same touch screens with the black border with display size 10.2 inches for p88 and 9.7 for iPad. Wu has also claimed that their tablet was sold in US but he didn’t declare on which stores. Apart from this another Japanese electronics company Fujitsu has also claimed that it has the right to name “iPad” which brings another chance of legal challenge for Apple.
