In UK T-Mobile seems somewhat surrounded with difficulties especially with its Android-powered G1, but in the other parts of the world it still wants to continue revolutionizing the things with its Android G1. The company has decided to redesign the G1 in the later half of this year.
It has been referred as Bigfoot in a leaked document and it’s likely to have
some nods from G1, but with a new design.
So, we can expect that the stocky lip and pop up screen would be no more, and instead of it you will find a curved chassis with sliding out keyboard.
In these leaked documents another Android-powered handset has been referred which is Houdini from Samsung that might be i7500 which has been recently announced. But you must keep this fact in mind that like many other usual leaks, it is somewhat difficult to tell whether it’s a sales teams projection have some tincture of truth in it.
Another reference in this leaked slide is of G2 Sapphire from the HTC that indicates that all these talked about phones have been intended for the US market. But it seems somewhat unlikely that the coming G1 would remain confined only to the land which gave a great success to the original one.
It’s quite evident this and the coming year will be the years of worldwide Android deluge and it can really be a good thing for those who have fed up with their iPhones.
