Develop Kindle Software

This Thursday Amazon has announced that they are bringing a development kit for kindle which will enable the software developers to build and upload active content for the kindle wireless e reader device.

This Kindle developmental kit will be available in the limited beta version by the next month and the new software and other related content is expected to be available in the Kindle store later in this year.

There are many possibilities for the contents available and the most expected contents are travel books that suggest activities based on real time weather and the related current events, and also the cook books which contain menus recommendation based on the size of the party.

Ian Freed, the vice president for Amazon Kindle while talking to media said in a statement “The Kindle Development Kit opens many possibilities — we look forward to being surprised by what developers invent” and it has been notified that participants in a limited beta program next month will be able to download the developmental kit, accept developer support, test content on kindle and finally submitting the finished content. All this new facility sounds really interesting for the software developers and this beta version will definitely get a good response from the developer’s side.
