Facebook one of the best social networking site has been claimed to be a major cause of divorces among the individuals. This observation has been made by a UK based divorce firm and they claim that fifth of their divorce cases are filed because of facebook. This seems to be very interesting but it’s a real fact, the site claiming this calls itself “the UK’s leading divorce resource” and they have declared that most of the spouses have complaints for their partner’s facebook profile.

The managing director of Divorce online says that “I had heard from my staff that there were a lot of people saying they had found out things about their partners on Facebook and I decided to see how prevalent it was I was really surprised to see 20 per cent of all the petitions containing references to Facebook”. The reason told by her was the inappropriate sexual chats of people on facebook with the people who are not supposed to share with. So flirting on facebook is now becoming a major cause of the family problems and everyone should try to avoid such actions on the social networking sites as these sites are aimed to bring people closer not apart.
